PMS College of Dental Science & Research is the first and only dental college in Kerala with DSIR SIRO certification. We are accorded with DSIR SIRO certification on 23rd February 2023, valid for a period of 3 years. This is a recognition of our commitment to scientific and industrial research.
The DSIR (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research) SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization) certification is a recognition provided by the Indian government to private sector academic institutes and companies engaged in scientific and industrial research activities with an objective of encouraging the institution to undertake scientific and industrial research, development, and innovation activities. This certification has provided us with great convenience in getting various government grants, access to government-funded research programs and collaborations, tax incentives and customs duty exemptions on imported equipment for R&D purposes etc.
